By downloading, installing, running, or accessing the GA4 MCP server software, documentation, or the ephemeral OAuth authorization relay (collectively, the "Software" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

2. Use of Google Analytics & Third-Party APIs

GA4 MCP acts as a local bridge between AI developer environments and Google Analytics APIs. Your use of Google APIs is independently governed by:

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your reporting requests, automated queries, and data access comply with Google's quota limits, rate limits, and service terms.

3. Ephemeral OAuth Authorization Relay

For developer convenience, GA4 MCP operates an ephemeral Cloudflare Edge gateway to facilitate browser-based Google OAuth token exchange.

The authorization relay is provided free of charge for individual developers and organizations.
The relay acts strictly as a stateless pass-through; credentials and tokens are returned immediately to your local machine and never persisted in server databases.
You may bypass the authorization relay entirely at any time by configuring your own Google Cloud Service Account key (GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS) or local Application Default Credentials (ADC).

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND AUTHORIZATION RELAY ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

5. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the maintainers, contributors, or affiliated entities be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Software, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business profits, or API quota exhaustion.

6. Termination & Account Control

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by removing the package from your MCP configuration, deleting local configuration files (rm -rf ~/.config/ga4-mcp), and revoking access in your Google Account Permissions Settings.
